The same incident happens with an indian customer when he books a cab from ola cab and ride around 415 km from jubilee hill to Nizamabad but he did'nt know the ride is not less than a 1 class flight trip of the hole world before the ola shows the estimate amount of ride is Rs9.15 lakh.
Ratish Sekhar, who works as a consultant on government projects received a Rs. 9.15 lakh bill from his Ola driver for travelling to Nizamabad from Jubilee Hill, and back on August 24.
This bill even shock the driver and told him that you can buy 2 indica cab with that amount. shekhar told driver to request uber to re-calculate amount from ola which takes around half an hour than show the correct amount of Rs4,812 .
Ola agreed to there technical glitch, and apologised for this.
This was a big shame for ola that broke their customer believe on them. Customer acknowledge glitch this time because it's a big mistake but what happen when a glitch make a ride amount from 200 to 500 ruppes even the customer will not have suspect to this an he/she will pay that amount with trust.
